She never wore their jewelry. Never. It was an unspoken rule she had with herself. No matter how beautiful the piece, how priceless the heirloom, she went without the adornments, preferring the simple pieces which were her legacy.
And tonigh was no different. She waited- a tigress ready to pounce while maintaining the calm aire of a gentry lady, her appearance upirght and well save for the slightly lower cut to the gown, and the very being of her presence in such a place.
The gown was heavy- obsidian- a deep tantalizing color made to made her eyes, a soulless color filled with nothing more then vacant stars and blackholes. A dress that dropped too low with soft lace and velvet pearls- a mourning dress made beautiful with doll like delicacy. And nestled just in reach lay the single strand of silver, dripping with a teardrop stone, onyx, marring the pallor of her skin, yet stealing none of its beauty.
Painted lips- the only amount of cosmetics she wore, faded well inwith her muted colors- a dusky rose in contrast to her raven hair, flickering eyes that hinted at a touch of spanish in her blood, despite the other light indications of hinted nordic.
An ice queen, a doll, placed upon a shelf and she stood still. No- she never needed to work to find a costumer. Never had and she gave little matter to it now. If they came, they came. If not, another of those jewels would provide money for long enough.
However, for now, now she would wait.

Elexi was not looking for a good time. No, if anything, he only came to see how real whores worked. What a name, it sounded so disgusting, when prostitute sounded so elegant despite it's meaning. he really did seem to prefer men, as he weaved through the small crowd. Sure there was a chance he would be seduced, but who was to say Elexi would fall prey so easily.
When his eyes finally raised from the floor, he looked around at all of the females. Why were there only females? Perhaps the males did exist, they just looked and dressed too much like Elexi for him to consider it.

Oubliette eyes fell dangerously on the male- a boy perhaps around her age, his features strikingly beautiful, vaguely like another male she had known. That ethereal beauty, more exotic then her own comingled features, intrigued her and lightly she stepped forth from her post, keeping her bearing tall, her gaze cloaked in distrust.
Tarja was unlike the other ladies- daring women with too much rogue, unflattering attire, and she carried a haughty disdain for them, something bordering on unhealthy, but she, she didn't need to try to get costumers usually.
"You look lost signore." Colour danced her words, a refined touch in all her bearing. A noble perhaps in all appearance, but a woman of the night in everything else.

"Hm?" Elexi gazed up slowly to see what woman stood before him. "Oh...No, miss, I am not lost. Just looking around. I know where I am...." He smiled softly, adding a great deal of finesse unto his already gentlemanly manner and attire. It was unusual for Elexi to be fully covered in clothes. Not even an inch of midriff was showing that night. The most manly he had ever looked....with the exeption of when he was human.
