Abandoned Solitude

Silence filled the hollows of the church, reverberating against the marble and stone niches and statues. Angels long since abandoned this holy ground, but the phantom voices of latin singing still filled the thick air, but she paid no heed.
A smile graced those pale lips and long raven tresses waved down the slender back. Pale skin gleamed but it was those eyes- stark, ancient maelstrom eyes that danced with inner fire and flecked with stars that held dreams and promises she had long ago given up.
Around her legs swished the lavender dress, trimmed with black lace and at her throat lay the thick choker of amythests and diamonds. She was not clothed for such a place, such an evening, but her plans were not on the stillness of the cathedral or the whispers of the wind outside.
Instead, with silent steps she approached the alter.

Armand sat in the back of the chruch. He had noticed that another had entered, but he didn't make his presence known to her. His thoughts were on his beloved Marrionnier. His search had been fruitless for his dear sister, but he refused to give up. Many of the servants in his home saw their master's madness, but they dare not voice it in fear of being killed and found in the canals the next morning. He grinned as he thought of the fear in his servants eyes, knowing they'd never betray him

For a long moment she did not realize another was in the church. Instead those silver eyes were half lidded and that head tilted back as she stood before the alter, lifting her arms high, in a final plea of silence, and she smiled into the dark.
It was then that she realized another was present. The scent, the muted sharpness like whispered secrets appealed to her and she turned, recognizing another immortal in the church. Not many entered such a place- many feared holy sactuaries and hollowed ground- and his presence surprised her, but she did not let on. nstead the lilth woman took a step forward, towards the other, silver eyes glinting over his face and she smiled softly.
"Evening." She whispered, her voice as always with that seductive throb, the edginess she had had forever

Armand was snapped out of his thoughts by the sound of a young woman. 'She's like me, I can smell the vampire blood in her veins' he thought as he looked up at her with his cold gray eyes. It had been long since he spoke with another person. Most of his time was spent on searching for his sister and catching her so she may never leave him again. "My name is Armand Montague, and who are you, cherie?" he asked her with his French accented voice.

The first thing she noticed with clarity was that he was French, a delightful thing to discovern in another and she offered him one of those quiet smiles as she watched him.
"Jacqueline D'Etoile." She offered in exchange and pulled into a tiny courtsey, and those maelstrom eyes skittered over with with collected calmness. "It tis a pleasure." Again she kept her voice in muted whispers.

"The pleasure is all mine. It's nice meeting another French vampire in this city. Tell me, how long have you possessed this dark gift?" he asked. He was always curious by other vampires even though he himself was one. The only other vampire he knew was his beloved sister, Armynel, who he knows is called Marrionnier

Jacqueline smiled softly and inclined her head again graciously. "Not long good sir. Some time over 200 years." Indeed she was young in this timespace, but those maelstrom eyes held sorrows and tears that were never shed, despite that ironic smile.

"Ah, you are indeed a young one. I'm four hundred years old, and all of those years were lived in France save for the moment a year ago when I moved here." He said, running his fingers through his silver hair

Curiousity filtered into her gaze which was pinned staunchly on the vampire before her. "Why did you leave France?" She couldn't understand the want to leave that land.
A hand reached up to brush through those unbound locks, ripping vaguely through the silken strands, watching the other vampire curiuosly.

"I came to persue the one person who means the most to me. I thought I lost her long ago, but apparently, she too became a vampire. It's my twin sister, Armynel whom calls herself Marrionnier" he said with a French accented voice.

She nodded mildly and ran her fingers absently over her choker, considering him blandly. "Have you not found her then?" She questioned, trying to recall where she had heard that name before.

"Yes, however, I have yet to catch her which is what I'll do. I won't let anyone eles have her, she's mine and mine alone" he said in a low tone. He hated seeing other men lay their hands on HIS Armynel. 'I won't allow it anymore' he thought with a twisted grin on his beautiful face

She considered him with mild certainty, studying his features, that altered grin, the possessiveness in his voice.
"You love her Signore." She whispered, her syllabint voice drifting into the church with mild interest.

Angelique walked in silently, dressed in all black.. she approached the alter and started to pray in french... she prayed for her soul, which was enternally damned... she then spoke quietly in english " My god, spare me zhis curse.. I beg of you... spare me from zhe hell bestowed upon me..." and she continued to pray only this time in silence...
