Fire and Ale.

He looked back over the past week and realized the sore feet he had developed from his long march with a caravan that went to a small village that lay on the outskirts of venetian land. He was told by his former employer that bandits were abound in the region. However he didnt see any during the expedition save for the ones he found during those near dusk "scouting" escapades. Still work was work and he needed something other than blood to quench his thirst tonight.
He Oberved the patrons. Calculating and surveying his surroundings like any good soldier would. Assure of his surroundings he yet again took a sip wine. He closed his eyes savoring the taste. It was sweet. Unlike unaged wine. "Yes today is a day of rest " he thought as he leaned back in his chair, and gently letting his sword touch the leg of his thick oak chair.

"A day of rest Signore?" Her voice came from behind him, a musical rendition filtered with stars and those rouged crimson lips curved into a mild smile as those oubliette eyes fixed on him carefully, gently.
Raven and crimson hair lay wildly over her shoulders and that crimson dress was immodestly cut low, but she tilted her head slightly in her consideration. He had been alone and that had intrigued her in itself. Normally she noticed people engaged in cards or something of the sort, but her intrest had been piqued.
